Looking for something fun this summer? Our summer camps are a great way to either introduce your child to soccer or to sharpen your child's soccer skills and bridge the gap until the fall soccer season begins.

All camps are under the direction of and run by our Cary Soccer Coaching Staff.

Early Bird Registration - 10% discount off regular registration fee through May 15, 2024

Regular Registration - May 16 - May 31, 2024

Late Registration - $25 added to regular registration fee starting June 1, 2024 (Please note that after June 1st players may not receive a t-shirt and pinnie/scrimmage vest the first day of camp for our Session 1 June camps and for registrations after July 1st for our Session 2 July camps.)

1.  Shooting/Finishing Camp

Description: This camp is geared towards players looking to improve their creativity, productivity, and ability to shoot and finish in the attacking third of the field.  Camp will cover:

• Finishing in final third
• Composure under pressure
• Crossing & finishing
• Combination shooting
• 2v1 & 3v2 finishing

2.  Cary Defenders Technical Camp (For Competitive Players Only)

• Session 2 - Monday - Friday: July 15 - July 19

Description: This camp is geared towards the Cary Defenders soccer player looking to sharpen and maintain their technical skills over summer break.  Camp will cover:

• Passing & receiving
• Turns & moves
• Long passing
• Possessing the ball
• Penetrating pass
• Shooting

3.  Cary Soccer Skills Camp (For Recreational Players Only) 

Sessions:

• Session 1 - Monday - Friday: June 10 - June 14
• Session 2 - Monday - Friday: July 22 - July 26

5:00 - 5:45 pm (Ages 3-4)

Recreational Players Only (Ages 3-14 years old) - Groups broken down by age/skill

• 3-4 year old players - 45 minute session
• 5-8 year old players - 60 minute session 
• 9-14 year old players - 90 minute session

Description: This camp is geared towards the Recreation soccer player looking to improve their technical skills.  Camp will cover:

• Passing
• Controlling
• Running with the ball
• Dribbling
• Crossing
• Shooting
• 1v1 & 2v2

PLEASE NOTE:  Fees will not be prorated for partial participation in camp.   A minimum number of players is required for each camp to run.

EQUIPMENT:  All players will receive a t-shirt that is part of the summer camp fee.  If you are NOT a returning player that has a YELLOW pinnie, you must purchase a pinnie as part of your registration.  These will be received on the first day of camp.  For each day of camp, players are required to bring their own soccer ball (size 3 for players ages 3-8 and size 4 for players ages 9-12), pinnie/scrimmage vest, and water bottle and are required to wear shin guards.  Cleats are required for players age 5 and older.  Gym shoes are allowed for players age 3-4.  

No plastic/metal clips, sharp hairpins, earrings, nor any other objects may be worn, in which the coach may feel is a potential hazard to any player. Players wearing glasses are required to wear sport glasses. The safety of all players is our first priority.

SESSIONS CANCELLED DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER:  In the event of inclement weather and a session being cancelled, we will do our best to make up that session by adding on a session or adding time if possible to any remaining sessions.  However, there is no guarantee that the session will be made up and no refunds for cancelled sessions will be issued.

REFUND POLICY:  REQUESTS FOR REFUNDS MUST BE SUBMITTED IN WRITING TO finance@carysoccer.org.  Refunds minus a $15 processing fee will be provided up to May 15th.  NO REFUND REQUESTS WILL BE HONORED AFTER MAY 15TH.
