Thanks to everyone for a great season, culminating in a hugely deserved National Championship!

Please check back next year for more details about playing for the 2010 National Champions - Chicago Fire (Cary).

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

The Chicago Fire Premier the amateur program of Chicago Fire Soccer and Cary Defenders  have joined forces with Cary Defenders at the U.23 age group for the upcoming 2010 spring and summer seasons. Under the agreement the team will enter various competitions, including the Illinois State Soccer Association U23 League under the name Chicago Fire (Cary U23’s).

The joint venture is the result of leadership from both clubs coming to the agreement that this is in the best interest of the players within this age group. With the Chicago Fire also having programs competing in the United Soccer Leagues "Super 20" and "PDL" divisions, this is an additional program that complements the existing elite amateur teams.

These programs allow players to have a clear path for continuing their playing careers at the highest level.

The Chicago Fire Premier teams (PDL U-23, Super-20 and NPSL and ISSA U23) teams are the next level in the Chicago Fire pyramid of player development. The Chicago Fire Premier PDL side has been one of the most successful teams in the PDL since its inception in 2001. To further highlight the PDL side, 83 past players have played professionally domestically and abroad since the teams inception. In addition, the U19, U23 and Super 20 league provides the opportunity for the top 17-22 year old players in
